In 2020 -
Lok Nirmala Award - For an extraordinary contribution to the field of the country's folk culture, Lok Nirmala Samman is presented every year by Son Chiraiya and is awarded by the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Under the Lok Nirmala Samman started in the year 2020, Padma Vibhushan Teejanbai and Padma Shri Gulabo Sapera have been honored.
In 2019 -
In the year 2019, for the upgradation of Garhwali and Kumaon folk arts in Uttarakhand, in collaboration with ONGC, a 1-month workshop was organized by Padmashree Basanti Bisht in Dehradun and 15 days training and staging of Hill Yatra and Jagarwere organized in Pithoragarh.
- In the year 2019 itself, rare folk performances were presented in a two-day event “Dharohar” in Central Park, Delhi in which the performances by Padma Shri awardee Bastar Band, folk dance of Manipur Nagaland, Charkula of Brij are notable.
- In the year 2019, rare folk performances were also performed in the two-day event “Dharohar” at Assi Ghat in Banaras, in which Padmashree Anwar Khan Maganihar, Shehnai player Rajendra Prasanna and many other artists participated.
In 2018 -
In the year 2018, Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan Centenary Concert in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India organized a four-day event named Purab Rang at Pandit Ravi Shankar Culture Center in Delhi. Veteran artists like Padma Vibhushan Girja Devi Ji, Padma Vibhushan Rajan Sajan Mishra Ji, Padmashri Shekhar Sen ji gave performances in this event.
The presentations of the vanishing works of Awadh under the title Roshan Chowki of Awadh in Delhi in the year 2018 and in Lucknow in the year 2021 are noteworthy.
In 2016 - 2017
In the year 2017, presentation of “Naad Swaram”, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India at Bharat Ratna MS Subbalakshmi Centenary Concert. A two-day grand event was organized at Rangsharda Auditorium, Mumbai in which Padma Vibhushan Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Padma Vibhushan Vishwamohan Bhatt and Carnatic style Singer Sudha Raghuram ji and other artists participated.
In the year 2017, for the promotion of the disappearing popular Vidhan Nautanki and to bring Nautanki into the mainstream, training and financial support for 2 years and various productions of artists of Nautanki in Delhi-Mumbai, Banaras, Kanpur were staged and expanded by Son Chiraiya. We got the support of ONGC in this endeavor.
In the year 2016-17, huge events were organized by the artists of Son Chiriya on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of independence in Meerut, Ballia, Kanpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, the main centres of India's freedom struggle.
